Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SOLARA VPN apps, website (solaravpn.com), and VPN service ("Service"), operated by Triple Seven Solutions ("SOLARA VPN", "we", "us"). By installing the app or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to subscribe. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the free URL-cleaning feature only with a parent or guardian's permission.
3. Subscription and billing
- Pricing: $1.99 USD per month, or $19.99 USD per year (16% savings).
- Billing is handled by Apple via StoreKit. All charges appear on your Apple ID payment method.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. To cancel, use Apple's subscription management (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS, or System Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases on macOS). Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice in-app; new prices apply only to renewals after the notice period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operate an open mail relay
- Engage in any activity that is illegal under U.S. federal law, the law of your jurisdiction, or the law of any jurisdiction your traffic transits
- Transmit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind
- Conduct unauthorized scanning, intrusion, or denial-of-service attacks
- Distribute malware or operate a command-and-control server
- Infringe third-party intellectual property at commercial scale
- Operate any business of any kind that you have not disclosed to us in writing
Violations may result in immediate suspension without refund and may be reported to law enforcement.
5. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime. Maintenance windows, abuse handling, hardware failure, or upstream provider outages may cause temporary unavailability. We do not credit subscription fees for transient outages. For sustained outages exceeding 72 consecutive hours on a given subscription, contact [email protected] for a prorated account credit.
6. Data and privacy
Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. The Service is designed to minimize data collection.
7. Apple App Store terms
You acknowledge that this agreement is between you and SOLARA VPN, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or warranties for the Service. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them as such.
You agree to comply with Apple's "Licensed Application End User License Agreement" (the standard EULA) for the iOS and macOS apps.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE AGAINST ALL THREATS.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
11. Termination
We may terminate your access for material violation of these Terms with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription via Apple. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state and federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court.
You waive any right to participate in a class action against us, to the extent permitted by law. Disputes will be resolved on an individual basis.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. We will post material changes in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
